Pricing questions
What does Founding Member pricing mean?+
We're opening PixVend to a small group of founding photographers. If you start a paid plan during the founding period, you keep that plan's current price for as long as you stay subscribed, and you keep 0% commission on digital sales (you pay only your plan and the standard payment processing fee). Photographers who join after the founding period will pay different pricing. There are only a few founding spots left, and once they're gone the founding period ends.
Is it really 0% commission on digital downloads?+
Yes, for Founding Members. If you start a paid plan during the founding period, PixVend takes nothing from your digital photo sales for as long as you stay: you pay your flat monthly subscription and keep 100% of your digital revenue, minus the standard payment processing fee. The free plan carries a 5% commission.
How do print sales work?+
Prints are fulfilled and drop-shipped by our print lab partner. You set your own price, and PixVend takes a small tiered fee on it: from 17.5% on Starter down to 10% on Enterprise. The lab's cost comes out of your share at exactly what the lab charges; we never mark it up.
How do payouts work?+
Buyers pay through Stripe and the money routes directly to your connected Stripe account. New accounts begin receiving payouts after a short trust period (14 days and 10 sales), which protects you and your buyers from stolen-card fraud. After that you're paid weekly, and established sellers can choose daily.
Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime?+
Yes. Plan changes are prorated by Stripe and take effect immediately. Cancel whenever. Your galleries stay exportable and your photos are always yours.
What happens if I outgrow my storage?+
Add extra storage as an add-on from your billing page, or step up a plan. Enterprise includes 10 TB. High-volume event photographers routinely upload 100K+ photos per weekend on PixVend.
